Well, apparently the crooner watches the ABC hit series and has some thoughts about Juan Pablo Galavis' relationship with winner Nikki Ferrell—just like everyone else in America. And we're not just talking about an innocent opinion, because the Grammy winner is actually going so far as to analyze the 32-year-old Venezuelan's facial expressions.
"Thinking about Juan Pablo led me back to this book on my shelf called Unmasking The Face (I like super dense esoterica.) The book refers to itself as a 'guide to recognizing emotions and facial expressions,'" the 36-year-old shared on his Instagram account on Wednesday.
He continues: "Turns out Juan Pablo was showing figure 28, contempt with some disgust, with a sadness brow featured in figure 60 (not pictured.)"
Quite the analysis by Mayer, if we do say so ourselves.
As for Galavis and Ferrell, the lovebirds were last spotted at an exhibit of Hebru Brantley's work presented by Dom Perignon at Toys for Boys in Miami on Tuesday.
And according to an eyewitness, they looked like "a very happy couple."
Sources exclusively told E! News that Nikki and Juan Pablo popped in at around 8:30 p.m. and stayed for about an hour, mingling with the owner of Toys for Boys, a gallery and event space and enjoying some beverages.
"They were very affectionate and walked in hand in hand, and he had his arm around her most of the night," an eyewitness said. "They looked like a really fun and friendly couple and were really into each other."
Sounds like there was no sign of Galavis' "sadness brow."
