The actress, 25, and the actor, 32, met on the set of Very Good Girls in 2012. Holbrook proposed during a recent trip to Paris. "He asked Lizzie's father for her hand in marriage," a family friend tells Star magazine. "It was so romantic, and they couldn't have picked a better spot."
According to Us Weekly, the indie stars had been "talking about getting engaged" for some time. "They've been by each other for a while, taking a lot of couple time," a source explained.
A second insider claimed they're already live-in lovers: "They moved into a place in Brooklyn a few months ago."
Reps for the couple did not return E! News' request for comment.
Before Elizabeth walks down the aisle, however, she'll suit up as The Scarlet Witch for The Avengers: Age of Ultron this spring. "[I'm] very excited," she told E! News last month, just weeks before Holbrook popped the question. "We're doing prep work now. It's a lot of fun and I think it's going to be really exciting for the fans because it's going to be something they are not expecting. That's why I'm excited."
Elizabeth isn't the only lucky lady in her family: sister Mary-Kate Olsen is reportedly engaged to Olivier Sarkozy, and M.K.'s twin, Ashley Olsen, is rumored to be dating Moneyball director Bennett Miller.
