Linus Roache is bringing a different kind of law and order to Vikings. The Law & Order veteran (see what we did there?) is mixing it up with History's warriors as King Ecbert, the king of Wessex. He's a man on a mission and his ambition is unmatched. And he's a got a solid beard.
Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) will stop at nothing with his invasion, but King Ecbert will not back down. His guard is always up, making him a worthy opponent for Ragnar.
In the exclusive clip above from the Thursday, March 13 episode, King Ecbert prepares for the raid the best way he can. He's gathering an army, mounting spies to get in with the invading party and is sharing his expertise on the Northmen…but is he really in control?
Vikings also stars Katheryn Winnick, Donal Logue, Alexander Ludwig and Jessalyn Gilsig.
"Vikings season two, it's such a good pick up from one. For those who were wondering where all the action went, the action is back right off the bat," Logue told E! News of the new season. "The pillaging part of it is front and center this time. It was fantastic."
