Jessica Simpson has been proudly showing off that slimmed-down body of hers—and who can blame her?!

Eight months after having her second child, son Ace Knute Johnson, the 33-year-old fashion-brand powerhouse and Weight Watchers spokeswoman has bounced back into shape, leaving many wondering exactly how she did it.

Well, a source tells E! News that, aside from her continued commitment to Weight Watchers' nutrition plan, Simpson incorporates regular exercise into her busy schedule, making a point to work out three or four times a week.

Our insider says that Simpson really likes walking around her hilly L.A.-area neighborhood, which offers the benefits of hiking with the convenience of just having to walk outside her door. She also wears a pedometer so she knows just how many steps she's taking.

But, the source adds, the singer's favorite form of cardio is running around after daughter Maxwell, who will be 2 in May, and playing with her on the swings in the backyard!

Mother and daughter both love that and, subsequently, being a mom has provided the most enjoyable form of exercise for Simpson yet, the source says.

Going by the way Jess has been accessorizing her form-fitting dresses with a huge smile these days...we believe it.

"First time rocking a white dress this year...but not the last!! Thanks @weightwatchers," Simpson wrote on Instagram Thursday, adding, "...AND a white T-shirt!! #goalreached thx @weightwatchers."
