Katy Perry was spotted trying to keep a low profile while attending a movie with two pals at ArcLight Cinema in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.
The "Roar" singer attempted to remain incognito for her casual evening out, sporting a black beanie hat, glasses, gray leggings, a sweater and matching Ugg boots. The newly single starlet, who recently split with her on-again-off-again beau John Mayer, wore a straight face as paps snapped pics of the pop star, trying to stay out of the spotlight as she chatted with her friends.
Just one night prior, Katy tweeted, "You know your friend is a good one when you catch her putting vodka in her Pressed Juicery greens 3" (can't say we don't agree).
The 29-year-old pop star has been following super-strict diet as she prepares for her upcoming world tour, recently admitting she has to be "very focused" during an appearing on the Australian talk show Sunrise.
"Right now I've cut out all alcohol, all fatty foods, a lot of dairy. I go home and I'm going to have like mostly vegetarian, with some protein on the side like chicken," she said before adding, "I'm almost 30 guys, my body does not snap back anymore!"
So...it seems as if her friend was trying to trick the performer into having a little boozy fun.
In addition to her alcohol-related tweets, the songbird also shared her new favorite movie via social media with her fans, which is presumably the flick she saw on Sunday evening.
"DO NOT WATCH ANYTHING BESIDES THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL!" the raven-haired starlet wrote.
Nothing like a movie, BFFs and little booze to cure any signs of the breakup blues.
