We have to agree with Jack Antonoff's description that this is indeed a "real sick double date."

Make that the sickest double date ever

The lead guitarist of the popular rock band Fun. took to Instagram yesterday in honor of Throwback Thursday (we presume), sharing a shot in which he and girlfriend Lena Dunham are sandwiched in between President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle.

"Real sick double date," the 29-year-old musician captioned the pic, in which Dunham is beaming from ear to ear while her BF flashes a subtle smile. Both Barack and Michelle look happy as ever as they pose for a photo with the celeb couple, appearing equally as starstruck as they smile inside what appears to be the White House.

And despite the fact that Antonoff didn't provide any further context as to when the epic double date went down, we did a little digging, and it turns out, the pic in question was seemingly taken back in July (after all, Dunham is gearing up to host Saturday Night Live for the first time tomorrow) when the powerhouse couple attended the Fourth of July barbecue at the White House, where Fun. performed.

"Happy 4th of July, from our family to yours!" the 27-year-old Girls creator wrote at the time, sharing a shot of the twosome hugging with the president's official residence in the background.

As you can see, the pair is sporting identical outfits in both Dunham and Antonoff's Instagram photos, and the Obamas were also photographed wearing the same look on July 4 as well.

Dunham has never been shy about expressing her political views. She actively campaigned for the reelection of President Obama, and she is a strong supporter of the Democratic Party.

Oh, and she also apparently double dates with the POTUS and FLOTUS on the side. Lucky girl!
