Nicole Kidman is pure royalty in the upcoming film Grace of Monaco.

The 46-year-old effortlessly portrays Grace Kelly in the drama biopic, which also stars Tim Roth as Prince Rainier III and Frank Langella.

This U.K. trailer features an emotional Kidman, who looks just like the iconic Alfred Hitchcock muse in her beautiful fashions, expressing her sadness for abandoning her booming Hollywood career to become a princess.

"Some of you ask why did I leave Hollywood," Kidman declares with sadness in her voice. "Well, I left because, because I fell in love with a charming prince."

The Olivier Dahan-directed film is set against the picturesque backdrop of 1962 and depicts Kelly's attempts to "reconcile her past and her present, a yearning for a return to the big screen with her newfound role as a mother of two, monarch of a European principality and wife to Prince Ranier III."

The trailer shows the political dispute between the prince and French leader Charles De Gaulle, which nearly saw France invade the principality.

Grace of Monaco, which also features Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia and Derek Jacobi, is set to hit U.K. theaters on June 6. The film will also be released at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
