For Erin Andrews, cohosting the new season of Dancing With the Stars is like going home again. The former contestant told E! News she's "really excited" to return to her "family."

"Being on season 10 of Dancing With the Stars was one of the greatest times of my life," Andrews told E! News. "I made some great friends."

Andrews, a reporter for Fox Spots, said there's not much difference between the sidelines on the field and on the dance floor. She plans to ask the questions everybody at home wants to know the answers to.

Andrews replaces Brooke Burke-Charvet, another former Dancing With the Stars contestant who served as cohost alongside Tom Bergeron from 2010-2013.

Derek Hough, who was Burke-Charvet's partner during season seven of DWTS, said he recently saw her and that she's going "great." "I'm really excited for her new for her and her new adventures," Hough told E! News. "[I'm] really excited to have Erin on the show, she fits right in."

This season Hough will be paired with snowboarder-actress Amy Purdy. The cast also includes Drew Carey, Billy Dee Williams, Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar. Andrews has already confessed her love to one of the new season 18 contestants: NeNe Leakes.

"I love that woman," Andrews said. "I just want to talk everything Housewives with her."

In fact, Andrews said she already approached the Real Housewives of Atlanta star in the cafeteria and confessed, "I'm kind of obsessed with you."

The new season of Dancing With the Stars kicks off Monday, March 17, on ABC.
