While Sean Penn did not attend the 2014 Academy Awards with 38-year-old Charlize Theron on Sunday night, where she served as a presenter, the 53-year-old actor did join his ladylove at the Fame and Philanthropy post-Oscar party later that evening.
And while the two Oscar winners have accompanied each other to a few events since they first fueled relationship rumors when they spent the holidays in Hawaii, this marks the first time they actually hit a bona fide red carpet together.
Both decked out in black, Theron and Penn paused and posed for pics before heading inside The Vineyard in Beverly Hills, Calif.
But this wasn't the first Oscar-related event for the couple. Last Thursday, they were spotted getting cozy at Bionic Yarn, G-Star and Hennessy Privilege's party celebrating Pharrell Williams and his Oscar-nominated song "Happy" in Los Angeles.
At one point in the evening, Theron adorably rested her head on Penn's shoulder. When they left, an eyewitness told E! News, "They seemed happy and at peace."
Not too surprising, of course, seeing how another source recently told E! News, "They are spending night after night together and moving very fast. It seems like it's getting serious and that they can't get enough of each other."
