Corinne Foxx typically steps out to red carpet events with her dad (Jamie Foxx, that is), but now the 20-year-old is breaking out with her own modeling career. Looks like soon enough she'll be know as Corinne, rather than "Jamie Foxx's daughter."

Corrine is the face of the accessories line, Icing, which is the first time the brand has ever featured a famous face in its seasonal campaign. It's also Corinne's first national ad campaign gig.

So we caught up with Corinne to talk about her favorite accessories, beauty tips and how she plans on prepping for the Oscars.

"I cannot leave the house without one of my charm necklaces," she said of her favorite accessory. "I'm totally obsessed with the one that I just got for my birthday—it's a gold pendant necklace with the Aquarius constellation embedded in it."

As for beauty advice, Corrine never underestimates the power of a great drugstore buy. "I'm a firm believer that the best mascara comes from the drugstore," she says. "Maybelline Great Lash is a classic at an affordable price."

And what does she like to splurge on? "I'm always happy to splurge on foundation that matches my skin tone. "

When it comes to prepping for the Oscars, Corinne doesn't plan everything out too far ahead of time. "I usually select my dress a couple of days before and the look really evolves the day of," she says.

Corinne clearly has plenty of red carpet experience, so we had to ask her about her number one tip for looking red carpet-ready. "Be completely rested," she advises. " I like to make sure that I have a full night's sleep before a big event. When you feel your best, you look your best. Makeup can't cover up exhaustion."

So looks like it'll be an early night for Corrine Saturday so she can walk the red carpet during the Oscars Sunday looking bright and fresh-faced.
