25-year-old expressed her gratitude on the social media site on Friday

Twitter has a new verified and official royal addition: Princess Beatrice.

The 25-year-old, also known as @yorkiebea, proudly shared the good news on Thursday.

"So happy to be verified, thank you @TwitterUK," she posted, shortly after that blue check mark appeared next to her name.

Prince William and Prince Harry's cousin sent her first tweet last May. Before she become official, she tweeted Pharrell Williams about his memorable Grammys hat.

"Good luck with your hat auction @Pharrell From one hat lover to another," she shared.

Perhaps she is referencing her unforgettable Royal Wedding ribbon-like fascinator.

Besides staying active on Twitter, Princess Beatrice is keeping busy with an internship at Sony Pictures Television.

Per the Daily Mail, she began working at the company in January shortly after she quit her job at an investment capital firm.

The young royal is said to have begun working at the London headquarters quite recently following a break from all professional obligations.
