Sarah Michelle Gellar may not play Buffy Summers on TV anymore, but a piece of the slayer is very near to her heart. Literally. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star revealed on Reddit that she keeps some weapons near her while she sleeps.

When asked if she kept anything from the show, Gellar said, "Aside from her wardrobe? I think my favorite is that my makeup artist had made a special stake for me with a little bottle of holy water, and to this day I keep it by my bed."

Hear that vamps? Don't even try and mess with SMG whilst she sleeps.

Gellar's Reddit AMA was filled with delightful tidbits about the star. Gellar, who is currently appearing opposite Robin Williams in The Crazy Ones, sent Buffy fans into a tizzy when she firmly planted her flag in the Angel/Spike debate.

When asked "Spike or Angel?" Gellar responded, "ANGEL." Yes, in all caps. Another Reddit users asked again and Gellar said, "Still Angel." Sorry, Spuffy fans. Oh, she also prefers Coke Zero over Pepsi. Sorry, Pepsi fans.

Twentieth Century Fox

That wasn't the only time Gellar played favorites. Her favorite episodes include "The Prom," "Hush" and "The Body."

Why "The Prom"? "[B]ecause I just love that whole story, and I thought it just encapsulated the show so well. It was beautiful and heartbreaking."

Why "Hush"? "[B]ecause I think it's not just the scariest episode we've ever done but the challenge to do a silent episode - I thought it would be easy but it was way harder."

Why "The Body" (as if it wasn't obvious)? "[B]ecause it was beyond difficult and heart wrenching to shoot, and I don't know if many people know this, but my entire first scene was all done in one take. It was 4-5 minutes of one long take."

When asked if she'd ever return to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchise, Gellar said: "I feel like I still do? I don't think you ever leave that franchise."

A few other tidbits: If Buffy made it to Broadway, she wants Kristin Chenoweth to play the character, she's a proud Miley Cyrus fan and is afraid of birds, especially pigeons.
