The precious pair showed off their matching sunglasses Thursday on Instagram, and Jessica, 33, proved that like little Maxwell, who turns 2 in May, she has absolutely no need for makeup! The singer and fashion mogul's natural beauty shined through in the sweet, barefaced shots.
Clearly Jess, who is also mommy to 8-month-old son Ace Knute, has taken to parenting like a pro. But, as she admitted to E! News in December, she "didn't know everything that was going to go into it" before having a child."
Looking back, what does she wish she'd known back then? "It's so hard to hear your baby cry," she told Parents. "Getting in a routine from the start helped us out a lot. You don't have to wonder what the crying is for, because you know it's time to eat, change, or sleep."
Jessica gushed about Maxwell and Ace's dad (and her fiancé!) Eric Johnson, saying she felt "so blessed" and "lucky to have found the best man to start my family with."
"Eric and I are calm and supportive," she said. "We take parenthood one day at a time, but sometimes we have to reassure each other and say, 'We've got this.'"
