And despite their completely different senses of style, T.Swift pointed out a few items of clothing that the "Royals" singer just had to take a look at.
The country crooner was seen wearing a printed black sundress, complete with a red belt and matching bold red lips. She also toted a very ladylike handbag and donned strappy heels for the girls' day out.
Meanwhile, Lorde stayed true to her usual hip style with a black leather skirt and long-sleeve blouse.
Just before the pals left Rag & Bone to continue on with their shopping journey, they ran into Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka!
The adorable star of the hit show appeared to be completely star-struck with the run-in and even shook hands with the "I Knew You Were Trouble" songstress. So cute!
Lorde recently chatted with Capital FM radio, where she spoke about a potential duet with her new close pal.
"Yeah we are [different]," the 17-year-old singing sensation said. "But I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music."
"I think that last record [Red] in particular, everyone was like 'Woah', a lot of ground has been covered," Lorde added. "And I think with an artist like her, the sky is the limit."
