On Saturday, the 36-year-old actress Instagrammed an endearing #nofilter (#obviously) throwback pic of her 9-year-old self. As you can see, young January was rocking some serious '80s bangs, an awesome mullet, a gap-toothed grin and a multi-colored, patterned shirt. And this glamazon is proud of her adorably awkward childhood pic, adding the hashtag #ilovem9yroldself.
January realizes, of course, her looks have changed since this impressive school photo was taken. She posted a follow-up selfie circa 2014, writing, "25yrs later, my eyes are more open but less sweet," before lamenting, #whyistherenothingontvonsatnight?
The Mad Men star is quite the social media charmer, it seems. When she's not posting throwbacks or self-deprecating selfies, she's calling out Fifty Shades of Grey and sharing inspirational quotes from Audrey Hepburn.
Her model good looks, quick charm and sheer talent have earned her success in Hollywood, but a former beau by the name of Ashton Kutcher didn't see January's potential from the get-go. "He was like, 'I don't think you're going to be good at this [acting],'" she recalled an a 2009 interview with GQ. "So—f--k you! He only has nice things to say now—if anything, I should thank him. Because the minute you tell me I can't do something, that's when I'm most motivated."
