Lamar Odom on Khloé Kardashian Marriage: There's Nothing I Would Do Differently, We've All Made Mistakes

Lamar Odom didn't hold back when asked about Khloe Kardashian in his latest interview with reporters in Spain.

The basketball star, who has just signed a one-year deal to play for Laboral Kutxa based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, gushed about his marriage to the E! reality star by saying that "those were some of the best years of my life."

He added, "There is nothing I would do different. Being married and being married to the woman I decided to marry, besides having my children, was the most important thing in my life."

Lamar also explained that he'll always have fond feelings for Khloé, despite their pending divorce.

"That's my wife, I love my wife, she'll always be my wife no matter what," he explained.

Lamar did speak on their split, but was vague when asked about the future has in store for the two.

"Who knows, we don't know exactly, only time will tell. I hope [we don't get divorced] and even if we were divorced she'll always be my wife."

Keeping a level head and not stressing about what's in store seems to have been something ingrained in the Queens born-athlete since he was a little boy.

"My grandmother used to tell me if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans," he told the reporters. "She was a wise one."

The former Los Angeles Lakers player also chuckled a bit when questioned if he believes he's made any mistakes over the years—both personally and professionally.

"We all have," Lamar said.
