Girl Scout Cookies, Thin Mints

Prepare for the greatest use of wordplay in the history of languages...

This girl is one smart cookie. We will now take a minute to let you recover from how awed you just were by that clever sentence.

Anyway, 13-year-old Girl Scout Danielle Lei from San Francisco put two and two together and realized that when you put people who visit weed dispensaries with delicious cookies, you get magic. Cookie-selling magic.

As most of you know, medicinal marijuana is legal in California, so Lei decided to set up shop earlier this week outside of dispensary in San Fran called The Green Cross. She ended up selling 117 boxes in a single day! Now, we can't confirm that it's merely because of her location outside The Green Cross because girl scout cookies are delicious regardless if you've been smoking weed or not. But we think it's a safe bet that selling outside a dispensary did not hurt her sales.

Danielle's mom told Mashable that she likes to send Danielle and her other daughter around San Fran when they sell Girl Scout cookies so they can "learn about different environments while earning some cash." Positioning Danielle outside a weed dispensary was her way of starting a conversation with her daughter about drugs and how many people use marijuana to help them cope with cancer, anxiety and more.

"They learn that they're not drugged out," Lei said. "Many have serious needs, and are just a little different."

But to be fair, she totally stole this idea from Friends. When Ross (David Schwimmer) took over selling cookies for an injured Girl Scout (actually she was a Brown Bird, but same thing), he struck gold when he went to the NYU dorms around midnight. They even gave him a nickname:

But regardless of all that, the Girl Scouts of America get money, Danielle probably gets a business saavy badge and people get cookies. This is a situation we like to call win-win-win.

Now someone bring us nine boxes of Thin Mints now!
