Don't expect Lorde's unique style to change now that she's a Grammy winning superstar. The pop star told Vogue magazine she's not into trends:

"The kind of clothes that I've found I like to wear over the past year and six month have all been things that make me feel powerful and strong," she shared in the March 2014 issue. "I wear a lot of pants I wear a lot of long structure dresses." She also shares that a few of her favorite labels are: Comme des Garcons, Miu Miu, Moschino, and Simone Rocha.

As for her style icons, she says looks up to "People like Grace Jones and David Bowie, who have a sense of themselves."

And speaking of idolizing, the "Royals" singer says she is still getting used to having fans take cues from her. "There's a fine line between role model and preaching to people. I never want to tell anyone how they should be, especially not someone my age. But, that being said, I'm conscious of the fact that people my age are reading what I say and listening to what I say, and that's cool-particularly for the girls who are into what I do."

Of course, if she should need any advice on how to handle the fame game, BFF Taylor Swift is just a phone call away. That is, unless they happen to be in the same studio—a situation that's looking more and more likely. Just this week, Lorde talked about a possible collaboration with the country singer. "Yeah we are [different]," Lorde said. "But I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music."

We'll be crossing our fingers!
