Selena Gomez is reading the words of a man who is even more famous than Justin Bieber—Jesus!

The 21-year-old singer-actress shared some Biblical wisdom from the King of Kings on Instagram Wednesday, taking away from it that, "Its not about what you have, its what you can give. Whatever it is."

The verse Selena was referring to is Genesis 12:2, which states, "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you/ And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing." Selena interpreted this, in her notes, to mean "He will bless me w/ great gifts" and drew and arrow implying that she will share them "with others."

This make-the-most-of-your-blessings message from God is discussed more at length in Brian Houston's book How to Maximise Your Life. Selena highlighted portions of Rev. Houston's thoughts, which pointed out the "purpose of God's blessing is to enable you to be a great channel of blessing to others."

Selena has undoubtedly relied on her faith—along with family, friends and fans—these past few months. She completed a stint in rehab in January not to deal with any sort of substance abuse issue, but to "clear her head" and take a break from working for six years straight. A source told E! News Selena's voluntary stay also helped her to move past her and Justin's breakup.

"But she is fine," said the source. Selena also made sure to let her fans know she was OK, too, and Instagrammed a message that said, "I've done everything I could to the best of my ability. Thank you for the unconditional love and cyber hugs. You inspire me."
