Alyson Hannigan is sticking with CBS.

With How I Met Your Mother set to wrap up its nine-year run in March, the beloved CBS sitcom's stars are already plotting their next moves. Hannigan's post-HIMYM gig? The actress has just joined CBS' comedy pilot More Time With Family, which comes from actor-comedian Tom Papa, the host of Marriage Ref.

In the multi-cam comedy, Hannigan will take on the role of Cindy, the wife of Papa's character, who is a husband and father that makes a career change in order to spend more time with his family. (So basically the title of the show.)

The More Time With Family pilot script was co-written by Papa, along with Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa. Serving as executive producers? Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, along with Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman.

The timing of Hannigan's new role is bittersweet considering How I Met Your Mother had its final table-read ever on Friday. "Today we are having our last ever HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER table read," Hannigan tweeted. "Carter [Bays] & Craig [Thomas] are trying to rip my heart out on Valentine's Day."

The Buffy alum isn't the only HIMYM star to sign onto a pilot looking for a network pickup at the Upfront presentations in May: Cristin Milioti, aka the Mother, will star in A to Z, Rashida Jones' new comedy pilot for NBC.
