Kate Middleton received a floral arrangement after she opened the ICAP Art Room at Northolt High School in Ealing, England, on Valentine's Day. The 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge looked radiant wearing a £225 Detroit Dress by LK Bennett, £1,200 Kiki McDonough earrings and a Cartier watch.
Middleton has been a royal patron of The Art Room since January 2012. During Friday's visit, the royal met with staff and students and learned more about how the school and the charity work together. "There's so many of you!" the new mom exclaimed before stepping into a short Art Room session.
The outing marks Middleton's second official appearance of 2014. She recycled a Jenny Packham gown (and borrowed jewels from Queen Elizabeth II) for Wednesday's National Portrait Gallery event.
Prince William, meanwhile, spent Valentine's Day morning in Datchet, Berkshire, with his brother Prince Harry, delivering sandbags to communities affected by flooding. "You could come and help instead of throwing cameras around," Prince George's 31-year-old father cheekily told an ITV News reporter.
When reporters asked Prince Harry if he enjoyed helping out, he replied, "Not really, with you guys around."
A spokesman from Kensington Palace said the siblings "wanted to show their support for the flood victims and have joined the armed forces relief effort." A Buckingham Palace spokesman, meanwhile, said that their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, "is supporting Somerset farmers affected by the flooding on the Somerset Levels by contributing feed and bedding from the royal farms at Windsor."
