But now her mom Melanie Griffith is proving their family line is blessed with gorgeous looks that span generations.
The 56-year-old actress took to Twitter today to share a family photo of three generations of women in her family, including herself, her 84-year-old mother Tippi Hedren and her two daughters Dakota and Stella Banderas (Dakota and Stella are half-sisters). She captioned the black and white photo, "Banderas,Griffith,Hedren,Johnson."

Johnson recently put her good looks to use by posing for Vanity Fair's Hollywood issue. The Fifty Shades of Grey star looked gorgeous in a strapless silver dress by Dior.
She also opening up about her Fifty Shades character Anastasia Steele, saying, "A lot of getting into the character's head, in Ana's headspace before she meets Christian, so it's a lot of reading, which I love. She's an English major, so that's kinda boring."
"It's been a very smooth and fun and creative experience," Dakota added of filming. "I think going into something like this, you kind of have fears of what it could be like and none of those fears are happening. We all get along really well and the crew's amazing. We're just all trying to make this project the best it can be."
