Remember the last time you got a haircut? You probably went to the salon solo, dusted off a few inches and possibly tweeted a selfie, which resulted in approximately 30 likes (if you're lucky).
And then there's Taylor Swift.
The 24-year-old songbird chopped off her locks on Tuesday in front of a star-studded crowd which included celebs such as Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne—and her new 'do is still making massive headlines today.
But the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer is hardly the first star to try out the popular lob hairstyle, which can vary in length from just below the chin to a sassy shoulder-grazing 'do. Check out these other celebs who have sported the trendy look!

While the trend is nothing new, it's become a full-on epidemic in 2014, as a number of celebs have chopped off their locks in the New Year. Jessica Alba recently cut off her famous brunette tresses, showing off her new "fashion bob" which features "textured ends" and a "short front."

And newly engaged Emma Roberts also decided it was time for another big change in her life when she chopped her long blonde hair into a short bob style, sporting her sleek chin-length crop at Elle magazine's Women in Television event last month.

And Roberts seemingly took a page from her American Horror Story: Coven costar Sarah Paulson's book, as the 12 Years a Slave actress also debuted an adorable lob haircut on the red carpet at the 2014 SAG Awards.

But the trend hasn't just made waves this year, as Jennifer Lawrence debuted a short and sassy style—prior to her now famous pixie—when she arrived at the GLAAD media awards in late April.

And she's not the only Jennifer who's tried out the trend—Jennifer Aniston also chopped several inches off her famous mane after a recent Brazilian-blowout disaster. "I was just ready for a change. I was ready for something new, to get it out of my face, so I could have a bit of an easier go at it," the 45-year-old beauty told PopSugar.

Former Twilight star Nikki Reed also decided it was time for a change in April 2013, debuting her fresh new 'do at the Coach Benefit for the Children's Defense Fund in Santa Monica. The short-haired beauty told E! News she wanted to "look different and feel different" in preparation for her upcoming film while gushing that her hubby Paul McDonald couldn't have been more supportive of her edgy transformation.

Julianne Hough (who has now also opted for a pixie 'do), Giuliana Rancic, Karlie Kloss, Kate Mara, and a number of other famous faces have all tried out the popular trend.
