Is Victoria Beckham abandoning her high heel obsession for sensible slippers?

It seems to be the case, at least in a recent Instagram photo the style icon uploaded.

The fashion designer shows a candid snap of her new pair of stylish black velvet flats and captioned the pic,"Obsessed with my @stubbsandwootton slippers! #livinginthesetillshowday #NYFW."

Now this is a whole new side of Posh we've never seen before!

We're betting that her comfy slip-ons are much more preferable during busy preparations before her runway show.

And while it seems that the mother of four surely would prefer these sleek loafers to her signature high heels for the time being, that's not to say that she didn't pack any pumps with her at all.

She was last seen on Tuesday arriving at JFK airport in black heels while cradling daughter Harper

Now there's the Posh we know and love!

As for her $400 slippers from American brand Stubbs & Wootton, we're totally in approval of the chic style, and hope to see some street style pics of Lady Becks strolling around in comfort soon.

And in case anyone recalls, this isn't the first time the star has made a statement about her appreciation for comfortable flats.

During her first fashion presentation she actually wore hotel slippers while finalizing details before the main event.

"I was downstairs with the florist in a pair of hotel slippers at about four o'clock in the morning redoing the flowers because I didn't like how the flowers looked," she shared at the time.

Now this is an example of a hard-working fashionista!

Regardless of what shoes she'll be wearing, the fashion spotlight will definitely be shining brightly on the designer for many years to come, and we can't wait!
