Major congratulations are in order for Stephanie Seymour, the 45-year-old beauty icon who was just named the new face of Estée Lauder. —

It's only fitting that the brunette beauty was selected to front for the brand's upcoming global advertising campaigns; after all, she is knockout gorgeous!

Seymour has long impressed us with her elegant poise and striking features, and we think she'll bring a fresh look to the cosmetics giant's image in 2014.

"I am honored to be part of the Estée Lauder family. As a young girl my mother had a dream for me and that was to be an Estée Lauder model! So this is truly a dream fulfilled," the international model, who has posed for Chanel, Versace and Marc Jacobs over the years, said in a release.

And from the looks of things, the pretty pairing is a match made in heaven.
