Watch: Is Candice Swanepoel a Flirt?

Candice Swanepoel alone on Valentine's Day?! Seems impossible, but that's what the Victoria's Secret supermodel told E! News.

During the Victoria's Secret "Bombshell Day" event with fellow angel Karlie Kloss in New York yesterday, Swanepoel told us, "I'm gonna be a lonely girl on Valentine's Day this year," when asked about her V-Day plans. Surely, anyone would jump at the chance to be her date for this year's day of love, but let's not forget, the blond beauty is taken.

The South African stunner has been dating model Hermann Nicoli for roughly eight years, and we're assuming the handsome hunk has a shoot over Valentine's, which is why he'll be away from his love. But that's when her girlfriends come into play.

"You don't have to have your loved one with you. You can go out with the girls, have a good time. It's also a good excuse if you have a crush on somebody to use that as the day to let them know," she tells us.

"A lot of people don't like Valentine's Day, and I used to be one of them, but I'm starting to use it as an excuse to do something different—cook a nice meal, maybe dress up a little, have some fun with it."

And if you're looking for the perfect gift to get your lady, Candice has just the right thing. "I sometimes go a little overboard with my perfume in the morning. But I would say as a gift pick, perfume, you can never go wrong with. Sometimes guys get shy with the lingerie thing, so go for a new fragrance.

"A girl always feels sexy, kind of gives you a different attitude, helps you get in the mood a little bit more. And the Very Sexy collection has a new fragrance which is really seductive and moody."

Just don't depend on the 25-year-old bombshell when it comes to flirting, because she's been out of the game for a while. "You know, for me, it's about feeling comfortable, feeling confident. I get a little shy sometimes with that," she tells E! News.

"I haven't dated since I was 17 years old so I would probably be really horrible in that situation. I'd be a little teenager. When you're looking for that significant other, I think everything is in the eyes. Don't take flirting advice from me, just sayin'."
