Despite new reports which claim the couple, who were first romantically linked in September 2011, called it quits over the holidays, Eva's rep tells E! News the latest breakup reports are just another round of rumors.
Tabloids claim the Place Beyond the Pines costars called it quits due to a difference in priorities—Gosling, who has not been photographed solo since the summer, seems to enjoy a life out of the spotlight, while Eva is said to love the glitz and glam of Hollywood.
It's been over three months since the lovebirds were last seen in public together, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the rumor mill began churning.
Mendes was seen walking Gosling's dog in late October, and the two were seen taking a stroll earlier that same month.
In the 39-year-old beauty's latest interview for Violet Grey, the Hitch star remained mum on her man, despite the reporter's best efforts to get Eva to open up.
When asked where she would like to die, the actress replied, "In a bowl of penne arrabiata…or what about Disneyland, isn't that the Happiest Place on Earth?"
She then laughed off the interviewer's follow-up suggestion that the Happiest Place on Earth is not Disneyland but is instead in the arms of her sexy BF.
The recent Q&A certainly isn't the first time Mendes has played coy when it comes to Gosling. In fact, the two have yet to speak publically about their relationship.
"I'm sorry. I'm shutting down," she exclaimed when asked about her romance with the 33-year-old actor during a chat with The Edit in September. "I'm such a weirdo. I literally lose my ability to speak—and you were doing so well."
