TwitterBack in the day, Gwen Stefani was just a girl...who got Sting's autograph!
The No Doubt frontwoman took to Twitter on Sunday, Feb. 2, and shared a vintage picture of herself receiving the legendary singer's signature following a show.
In the shot, we see a young Stefani standing next to Sting as he serves up his John Hancock while straddling a motorcycle.
And while the pic is definitely cute, many expressed concern over the caption that accompanied it.
"Chunky me 1983," Stefani wrote. "Getting@officialsting autograph backstage."
Yahoo! noted that Stefani's use of the word "chunky" sparked a bit of criticism from some of her followers.
"@gwenstefani please don't call yourself chunky. Too many girls and women look up to you for you to talk like that," tweeted one fan, while another said, "@gwenstefani that's chunky? I hope no one bigger then a size 6, 8?? is reading this."
Meanwhile, Stefani is expecting her third child with husband Gavin Rossdale. Last month, she revealed they are expecting yet another boy later this year. Stefani and Rossdale are already the proud parents of sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5.
