The actress, 27, and the musician, 32, both turned up to the same Super Bowl bash on Thursday, Jan. 30—and the former BFFs made sure to keep their distance at Cîroc Presents Bootsy Bellows at the Liquid Cellar in New York City. "They sat at separate tables across the room from each other and did not interact once," a partygoer tells E! News exclusively. "They avoided each other completely."
Other famous attendees included Mike Comrie, Zachary Levi, Terrell Owens and Geoff Stults.
Hilton held court at a table with her model boyfriend, River Viiperi. Lohan, meanwhile, "sat with a group of young guys," the partygoer says, noting that the Mean Girls movie star stayed sober. "There was booze on her table, but she wasn't drinking. She actually looked really good and seemed fresh and alert. She was in great spirits and spent a lot of time sharing photos on her cell phone with friends."
In an August 2013 Oprah's Next Chapter interview, Lohan admitted that "alcohol" had been her drug of choice in previous years. "That, in the past, was a gateway to other things for me," she explained.
While it doesn't appear that Hilton will be making amends with Lohan anytime soon, she has rekindled her relationship with childhood pal Nicole Richie. The former Simple Life costars posed for a picture during Art Basel in December 2013, and the #CandidlyNicole star reminisced about their reality TV days in Marie Claire Mexico. "Paris has been part of my life since I was 2 years old," Richie told the fashion magazine. "There's a strong friendship between our families and we'll always know each other."
