Jennifer Lawrence Reveals Her Favorite Trashy British Reality Show

American Hustle starlet admitted to The Sun that she watches The Only Way Is Essex

Jennifer Lawrence adores trashy, semi-scripted reality TV just like the rest of us.

The American Hustle starlet revealed during an interview with The Sun that she thinks the British series The Only Way Is Essex, also known as TOWIE, is "ridiculously amazing."

"You guys have your own version of Jersey Shore which is so ridiculously amazing I can't even begin," the 23-year-old told the newspaper about the ITV2 program. "It's like another world in Essex."

For those of you who might be unfamiliar with TOWIE, it follows a group of friends in the county of Essex and features lots of love triangles, plenty of hair extensions and tanning salons—a combination of The Hills and Jersey Shore.

The Oscar winner travels across the pond frequently and she dished about how she likes to spend her time in the United Kingdom. Yes, it involves watching TV and enjoying traditional English delicacies.

"I'm a big fan of all things British," the Hunger Games actress said. "I get to spend some time there now and again and I like that I can go for fish and chips wearing the most awful outfit and it's cool, you know."

As for TV, the blond beauty admitted that she likes that UK TV programming lacks filter when it comes to inappropriate language.

"You guys get to say f--k and s--t a lot more than our main TV shows do," she admitted.
