Everybody poops—including Gabrielle Union.
But unlike many ladies starting out in relationships, Dwyane Wade's fiancée put her bathroom habits on display from the get-go. "I have a high-fiber diet," the Being Mary Jane star said on the Tuesday, Jan. 28, episode of Chelsea Lately. "You're gonna [know]—this is happening."
And how exactly did such a personal topic come into conversation? Well, Chelsea Handler praised Gabrielle's Being Mary Jane character for being "on a toilet" frequently, explaining, "If you're gonna be with someone, you should get that out of the way."
The 41-year-old actress agreed wholeheartedly, pointing out that from the beginning of her and 32-year-old Dwyane's relationship, "there was none of that, 'I don't fart, I don't poop.' I'm gonna be in there [the bathroom]!"
She went on to joke to Chelsea that it wasn't until she got an engagement ring on her finger that she was "like, 'Oh by the way, I go three times a day and I leave the door open! And I don't light a match."
Hey, gotta give a girl credit for being comfortable with her bowel movements! And while Gabrielle and Dwyane already seem to be as comfy as an old married couple around one another, they do have a date set for when they plan to officially say "I do."
"But with a young love, I often forget dates," Gabrielle joked, alluding to the fact that her future hubby is nine years younger than her.
And when Chelsea wanted to know if the bride-to-be was "excited to be a married woman," the actress quipped back, "Well, I've been there before!" (She was married to former NFL player Chris Howard from 2001 to 2006.)
