You never want too many cooks in the kitchen, but God help you if there's gluten involved.

On an episode of Rachael Ray's 3 in the Bag that aired earlier this month on Food Network, the chef shared some of her favorite gluten-free recipes. Well, actress-turned-activist Jennifer Esposito (along with some other GF enthusiasts) were very upset with Rachael for making no mention of Celiac disease.

The actress, who suffers from the disease herself, tweeted a link to the Gluten Dude's blog—specifically a post which slammed Ray for a "wasted opportunity" of not mentioning Celiac disease, gluten sensitivity or cross-contamination. "Why be responsible?" Esposito weighed in, "That would mean @rachaelray would have to understand what she is actually speaking about."

"It's a shame that their r so many suffering at the hands of ignorance such as this," added the former Blue Bloods star, who claimed back in 2012 that her doctor-advised medical leave from the show led to her suspension from the CBS series.

It's a shame that their r so many suffering at the hands of ignorance such as this," added Esposito. (Rachael Ray's rep did not immediately return E! News' request for comment. Food Network has not commented.)

Esposito went on to tweet that she's "pitched about 10 networks about doing a show about celiac and the recipes that r healthy for all" but "No one rely cared."

That's surprising, because people are always wanting to talk about gluten!
