ABC/Todd WawrychukSean Lowe and Catherine Giudici really took the whole storybook romance thing to the next level with their incredibly romantic wedding this past weekend, and so naturally their Neil Lane wedding bands are pretty spectacular.
The couple clearly knows that if you're going to have an elaborate, star-studded, televised wedding, then you've got to have some major bling to match the over-the-top affair.
Sean chose a vintage-inspired, 3.15-carat platinum and diamond Neil Lane engagement ring the day he proposed to Catherine on the finale of The Bachelor. But when it came to choosing bands, we love that the couple were slightly unconventional and went with rose gold bands instead of platinum.
Neil Lane—who custom-made the bands for the couple—told People, "Sean liked the idea of having something different, almost like a fashion statement, and wanted rose gold and platinum for his band. Catherine loved the idea and decided on a matching aesthetic of all rose gold."
The jeweler definitely didn't skimp on the bling for Catherine's band. He added 114 round-cut small diamonds to hers, and the sparkle doesn't stop there. Catherine donned 25-millimeter pearl drop platinum earrings (complete with 20 carats of diamonds), and a 50-carat bracelet on her wedding day, and then switched out into a pair of diamond drop earrings for the reception.
And Neil Lane didn't forget about Sean, either. Who says bling is just for the bride? The groom sported some sparkle by way of his platinum cufflinks with 10-carat diamonds and four matching 20-carat diamond shirt studs.
With all this fabulous bling and spectacular celebration, we say it's time for the couple to just unwind and relax for a while. Happy honeymooning in Bora Bora!
