E! News has exclusively learned that Simon Cowell and his pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman enjoyed a cozy pizza dinner date at Serafina restaurant in NYC on Sunday, Jan. 26.
"They arrived around 5 p.m.," a fellow diner tells E! News. "He was in his standard sweater and jeans while she was in maternity wear."
The couple showed off a little sweet PDA as they noshed on a pizza together and watched the basketball game on the boob tube.
"They split a pizza and drank water," the insider shared. "They were cuddly and even hugged each other a few times—but they were also very focused on the Knicks game that was playing on the TV screen."
"They watched the game intently," the source added.
The lovebirds spent less than an hour at the eatery, sharing a short meal before they headed home together (perhaps to watch the Grammys?).
E! News has also learned that the X Factor boss is now in NYC to be by Lauren's side for the remaining weeks of her pregnancy. Silverman—who celebrated the 8th birthday of her son Adam with ex-husband Andrew Silverman over the weekend—is expected to give birth to the pair's baby boy in the coming weeks.
The happy couple was most recently spotted enjoying their babymoon while vacationing in Barbados, where Cowell was photographed putting his fatherhood chops to the test as he stopped to chat with an adorable baby on the beach.
Silverman also celebrated her baby shower at the 54-year-old music exec's Beverly Hills home in early December.
And in November, the British producer even revealed the pair had "agreed on a baby name," although he stayed mum on the little one's moniker. "I'm not going to say what it is yet, but I'm happy," he told E! News.
This is the first child for Cowell and Silverman, who finalized her divorce from the music mogul's former pal, Andrew Silverman, in early December.
