Modern Family Cast Pranks a Sleeping Sofia Vergara in Series of Instagram Shots

Sofia Vergara clearly took a big gamble when she decided to take a catnap in Sin City.

While briefly catching a little shut-eye in between scenes as she shot a special Las Vegas episode of Modern Family, the actress' costars immediately seized the opportunity to snap some pretty hilarious pics at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Monday, Jan. 20.

And, of course, castmate Jesse Tyler Ferguson didn't hesitate to share them with the rest of the world via Instagram.

In addition to a solo shot of Vergara sleeping with a napkin over her face, Ferguson put up a pic of himself posing with the Colombian-born beauty.

 

Ty Burrell also joined in the fun, as evidenced by the above photo.

Then it was Eric Stonestreet's turn to strike a pose, giving the memorable moment two thumbs up.

Finally, Julie Bowen decided to outdo everybody by hilariously placing a napkin over her own face as well.

But in the end, Vergara was a good sport about it all, playfully writing on WhoSay afterward, "Never take a little nap around [these] people again!!!"
