Kim Kardashian Explains "Fashion Disaster" Before Ellen, Posts More Bombshell Cleavage Pics Mid-Wardrobe Change

E! star reveals what she first planned to wear on the talk show while also revealing yet another skirt she tried on before settling on her final outfit

Kim Kardashian is always happy to talk fashion, especially in hindsight for those who want to know more about her ever-chic ensembles.

So as she's wont to do, the E! star took to her blog today to explain what really happened last week when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction right before she was supposed to leave the house to tape an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"I had a great punk Dior dress to wear on Ellen but it broke! We had no time to fix it, so I wanted to try something cream! I was going to be late, which I hate, so I took to Instgram for a quick response!" Kim wrote in a post titled "My Fashion Disaster."

We remember! First she tried on a white wrap sweater with a cream-colored long skirt that hugged every curve, but moments later she ditched that skirt for a knee-length one with strategic ruching all around.

But apparently the outfit she ended up wearing wasn't even her second choice, either! On her blog today, she included a pic of that missing second skirt, the one she tried on between the long and the ruched.

At that point, she obviously was in a rush because the brunette bombshell certainly didn't seem to mind that her sweater was gaping open, exposing her bra and plenty of cleavage, when she snapped her selfies.

And what was wrong with the second skirt again?

"I tried on this top I loved and paired it with this Donna [Karan] long skirt and then with a Louise Goldin cream skirt," Kim continued. "The second skirt was too sheer and I didn't have the proper slip so I finally found this Nina Ricci skirt that was perfection. Phew! Xo."

Disaster averted! (And maybe we'll get to see that awesome-sounding Dior dress one of these days.)

However, Kim's clothing was just a bit overshadowed on Ellen by the brand-new pics she brought to share of daughter North, including one of the 7-month-old getting a piggyback ride from dad Kanye West.

"He is honestly the most amazing dad," Kim gushed about her fiancé. "He really is a hands-on dad."
