When it comes to red carpet dressing, we love a golden touch, especially when that striking shade is paired with classic black.
So imagine our delight when we spotted a number of lovely ladies including Helen Mirren, Rita Moreno, Katrina Bowden and Betsy Brandt all decked out in the same color combination at tonight's 2014 SAG Awards.
These lovely ladies all selected festive frocks with rich gold patterns for a truly show-stopping effect on the red carpet, and we're positively enamored with each star's personal twist to the trend.
Mirren wowed in a brilliant Escada design paired with Neil Lane jewels, looking sophisticated and polished for the big night; while Moreno dressed quite similarly in an embroidered gown with a plunging neckline topped off with a studded leather jacket.
So hip!
For a more youthful take on the trend, Bowden showed off her flawless figure in a sleek black gown with an embellished gold neckline, and Brandt rocked a custom Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet ball gown that felt both edgy and elegant at the same time.
