Mindy Kaling couldn't help but photobomb the actor and 12 Years a Slave producer tonight during the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards—an LOL moment captured by an intrepid at-home viewer.
"I can't see the stage! Get out of my eyeline!" Kaling tweeted along with the pic, taken during a moment where Pitt obviously was unaware that he was going to be paused for posterity.
Meanwhile, the star of The Mindy Project is tweeting during the SAG Awards (as we wish more celebs would do).
And congrats on the plum seat, Mindy!
Kaling, looking gorgeous in a draped-just-so David Meister dress, was in the house tonight to present the award for Female Actor in a Drama Series with James Marsden—and of course they had a little scripted exchange.
"Oh, I wouldn't really know [about TV dramas]," Kaling sniffed. "I don't own a TV, I'm more into film."
"I don't really watch movies, I'm kinda more into books," Marsden countered.
To which Kaling scoffed and doubted the truth of that statement, saying, "Come on, Marsden, no one has read a book in, like, 20 years."
But thank goodness some people still have television sets—and are watching closely!
