As sneak-peek footage of the upcoming Lindsay has already implied, keeping up with Lindsay Lohan hasn't always been easy for OWN.

But all is moving forward as scheduled, according to network namesake Oprah Winfrey.

The star of Lee Daniels' The Butler told E! News on the red carpet Thursday at the 19th Critics' Choice Movie Awards that, amid reports that Lohan has caused problems for the docuseries' shooting schedule, she just spoke with the actress two days ago.

Winfrey said that Lohan texted her and then she called the starlet back and they spoke—though Winfrey was unaware that Lohan was in London.

"You would probably know more than I do" about Lohan's whereabouts, joked Winfrey, a nominee tonight for best supporting actress. "As far as I know we're still filming—do you know something?" she added when asked if they were still shooting Lindsay, which is scheduled to premiere March 9 on OWN.

"There've been bumpety-bumps, bumpety bumps," Winfrey said. "But as far as I know, as of right now, whatever time this is, we're still filming. And that's a part of it, that's part of live, that's part of coming out and trying to put your life together."

Lohan sat down for Oprah's Next Chapter in August, her first interview after completing 90 days of court-ordered rehab.

"In this case, I wasn't fighting at all," she told Winfrey about being ordered into treatment. "I just let go and was able to just be like, 'OK you probably do know what's best, because my idea of doing what's best for me has not worked in the past."

The 27-year-old actress also said that she was "ready to get the thing that's made me the happiest my whole life back, which is just work really hard and stay focused and prove myself in the way that I did before in the past that I lost. I have to regain the trust of people in my career that have their doubts and I fully respect that on their behalf."

Since New Year's, Lohan has attended the 2nd Sohu Fashion Achievement Awards in Shanghai (where she also had her laptop stolen at the airport), and then traveled to London, where she was photographed meeting friends for dinner at a nightclub last week.

Per the New York Daily News, In a clip of Lindsay screened for critics, Winfrey fumes, "This is just what everyone warned me would happen. And it is."
