Multiple reports claim that the 12 Years a Slave actor is dating Gerard Butler's ex-girlfriend, Madalina Ghenea.
The Hollywood hunk has been spending time in Romania, where he is filming his next movie, and spent New Year's with the brunette stunner in her native country.
Ghenea posted a picture from her trip to Romania on Facebook, showing a sliver of a man's face (with a red beard!). While there's no telling whether or not it's Fassbender in the photo, several commenters have proclaimed that it's him.
"life is a song -sing it.life is a game-play it.life is a challenge- meet it.life is a dream-realize it.life is a sacrifice-offer it.life is love-enjoy it," she wrote as a caption.
The 36-year-old was spotted with a mystery woman—who looks very similar to the model— on the New Zealand set of Slow West back in November.
Fassbender was most recently romantically linked to British Olympian Louise Hazel, and prior to the 27-year-old heptathlete, he was rumored to have dated Zoe Kravitz and Nicole Beharie.
Meanwhile, Ghenea most recently was seen with Butler on a vacation in Rome over the summer.
The two were spotted taking cute photos of one another throughout the city's tourist attractions at night.
Butler confirmed that he was dating the beauty in December 2012, calling her his girlfriend on The Tonight Show.
Prior to Butler, Ghenea was seen getting cozy with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2011. The two reportedly dated for several months before calling it quits.
