Kim Kardashian doesn't just carry a reminder of Lorraine Schwartz's artistry with her everyone she goes—she pals around with the celeb jeweler, too!
"Double trouble," both Kardashian and Schwartz posted on Instagram along with a selfie taken during their girls-only hangout last night.
A source exclusively tells E! News that Kim went to Schwartz's hotel in L.A. to hang out while the New York-based bling queen was in town for the Golden Globes.
They're very good friends and always try to get together when they're both in the same city, the source said, noting that the ladies' friendship predates Lorraine helping Kanye West realize his vision for Kim's 15-carat engagement ring.
As for their têta-à-tête Tuesday, there was just a lot of "silly, normal girl talk," according to our insider.
But did that "girl talk" include mention of Kim and Kanye's plans for their big day?
"They didn't even get to it," the source said, adding that Kim doesn't seem to be in wedding-planning mode just yet. (Well, we certainly know how a couple of girlfriends can talk for hours and yet not be able to touch on everything they want to cover!)
In addition to designing the ring with Kanye, Schwartz was also on hand to celebrate after his epic proposal to Kim at San Francisco's AT&T Park in October.
"I LOVE MY JOB!" she wrote on Instagram at the time along with a pic of her posing with the newly betrothed couple. Her various hashtags included "#congratulationskimandkanye #fromvisiontoreality #happiness #forever #ifthiswastheproposalicantwaitforthewedding."
And no wonder she wasn't up for a splashy night out with Kim—Schwartz must have been exhausted after decking out so many stars with her jewelry for the Globes! Taylor Swift, Amy Adams, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Hyland, Heidi Klum, Sandra Bullock, Kate Mara, Zoe Saldana, Anna Gunn, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Usher, Zosia Mamet and Aubrey Plaza all rocked pieces from her brand on Sunday.
