Just think, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper's unbelievable chemistry in Silver Linings Playbook—and their memorable dance scene— almost didn't happen.

Harvey Weinstein revealed during an interview with Howard Stern on Wednesday, Jan. 15 that the heartwarming drama originally cast Anne Hathaway and Mark Wahlberg in the main roles of Tiffany and Pat.

The movie mogul explained that the 31-year-old actress' decision to leave the film was due in large part because of creative differences with director David O. Russell.

Weinstein didn't get into the details about why the 42-year-old actor dropped out of the flick.

"Anne wasn't doing it," Weinstein said of Hathaway's direction from Russell. "And you know, she's marvelous and wonderful and she was my choice. I love her."

"I'll bet she's kicking herself in the head," Stern added.

"Well, whatever, I don't think so," Weinstein responded. "She went on to win the Academy Award for Les Misérables. Maybe we're kicking ourselves in the head."

Weinstein then elaborated about how J.Law eventually landed the life-changing part.

"The minute we saw Jennifer Lawrence's tape...because I said, how the hell are we going to replace Annie? And then this amazing creature walked in who's a brilliant actress and so much fun and she won the Oscar," Weinstein said.

So, an Oscar for Jen, an Oscar for Anne—everybody's a winner!
