2014 is clearly treating the "Skyscraper" singer well. Lovato took to Instagram earlier today to share some selfies of herself relaxing on the beach.
In one shot, the 21-year-old former X Factor judge lies on her back in the sand while wearing a strapless black bikini top and black bikini bottoms. Lovato's stomach looks toned and flat as she soaks up the sun next to the ocean water. "2014... feeling healthy, feeling rested.. Y'all ain't ready!!!! #NEONLIGHTSTOUR," she captioned the pic.
In another beach selfie, Lovato flashes a tiny smile while wearing sunglasses and showing off her multicolored hair, which is up in a ponytail. She wrote with the close-up shot, "Too much swimming = silver hair.... And I don't hate it...."
Clearly Lovato's time off from working this month has done her body good. Last week, she skipped attending the 2014 People's Choice Awards, which angered some of her fans.
Lovato took to Twitter to respond, writing, "Damn... Just hopped online to check twitter and some 'fans' are being really mean :(, I'm not a the PCA's because as I have stated before, I'm taking as much time off this month as possible."
"I haven't taken a substantial amount of time off in a long time and now I am. Thank you for those who voted and understand why I am away," she added.
