Apparently, Paris loves Paris in the springtime.

Superwealthy duo Paris Hilton, 24, and Paris Latsis, 25, have raised the stakes on their relationship of eight months by getting engaged, Hilton's rep, Rob Shuter, confirmed to E!

Latsis, a Greek shipping heir, popped the question to his hotel-heiress sweetie last Wednesday after she returned from a three-week publicity tour for her thriller, House of Wax, and her fragrance line, People.com reported.

The proposal reportedly came complete with a selection of 15 different rings from jewelers such as Tiffany and Harry Winston, including one 15-carat rock, according to Us Weekly. There has been no word on which sparkler Hilton ultimately picked to adorn her finger.

To celebrate their engagement, the Parises threw a weekend barbecue at their Hollywood Hills home for 75 friends and family.

As of yet, no wedding date has been set. It will be the first trip down the aisle for both Parises, who refer to each other as "Princess" (Latsis' nickname for Hilton) and "Babaluna" (vice versa).

Hilton has made no secret of her affection for Latsis in recent months.

"I'm so in love and grateful to have found such an honest and loyal person," the heiress crowed to Us Weekly. "I feel like we were meant to be, and I'm happy to have found someone to spend the rest of my life with."

Meanwhile, Latsis told the magazine that Hilton is "the most beautiful woman I've ever met" and said he feels like "the luckiest man in the world."

Despite her inclination to settle down, Hilton is still showing no sign of slowing down. The celebutante has said her next big project will involve reproduction.

"I want to have kids in the next two years, because I know that completes your life," she told People earlier this month.

The Simple Life star is apparently interested in keeping her family life complicated--she has said she intends to name her daughter Paris, while her son may be dubbed London.

There's certainly no doubt the couple will be able to afford life in the lap of luxury.

Earlier this month, Hilton revealed that she rakes in up to $200,000 for a 20-minute appearance at a party (more if it's in Japan), while Forbes magazine recently ranked the Latsis family number 54 on its list of the world's richest people.
