Katherine Heigl brought two very special guests to The Nut Job premiere at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Saturday, Jan. 11: her 33-year-old husband Josh Kelley and their 5-year-old daughter Naleigh! It marked the first time that the famous couple attended a red carpet event with their little girl.

Heigl, 35, voices a squirrel named Andie in the family flick, which hits theaters on Friday, Jan. 17. Her costar Will Arnett was also spotted attending the afternoon event. The only person missing from the theater outing was Heigl and Kelley's 2-year-old daughter, Adalaide. The mom of two tweeted that her littler one "is a bit young" to make her red carpet debut.

The actress phoned in to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show on Monday, Jan. 13, to talk about her role in the movie. "I'm really excited about it because it's the first time I've had the opportunity to be a part of an animated movie," she said.

Heigl's family currently lives on 25-acre ranch in Utah. They're the proud owners of two pygmy goats, two mini-horses, two donkeys, seven dogs, nine horses and 10 chickens. "With two small children, all we do every night—especially in Utah, because there's not a lot to do—is watch animated movies with our daughters," Heigl said. "It's our family time, so I thought, 'This is going to be great! I can actually sit down with my kids and watch one of [my movies].' That was a big reason why I wanted to it."

Flying west for the premiere was a nice escape for Heigl and her family. "Had a blast promoting the @TheNutJobMovie this weekend with the awesome @arnettwill," she tweeted on Monday, Jan. 13. "Strange meeting cast for the first time at the premiere!"
