Step aside, Smilers, Beliebers and Directioners—Chris Pine's fan-made moniker is simply better than the rest.
While speaking with E! News at the Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit junket at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday, Jan. 10, the 33-year-old stud opened up about his die-hard fanbase, who have dubbed themselves the "Pine Nuts," while sharing his reaction to TLC star Chilli's recent crush confession.
After the girl-group singer was romantically linked to Wayne Brady in the tabloids last week, the 42-year-old songstress shot down the romance report while shamelessly admitting that she's actually been swooning over Pine.
"As a matter of fact, Chilli happens to be a 'Pine Nut' so if you all want to play matchmaker Chris Pine is definitely what Chilli wants," the singer's rep told E! News in response to the Wayne Brady dating rumor.
So what does Star Trek stud have to say about his celebrity admirer?
"Yeah, we get mixed up all the time, me and Wayne Brady," the handsome actor told E! News with a laugh before adding, "Well, have her send me some sort of gift and then we'll talk."
But Chilli's love for Chris may be unrequited, as Pine is currently dating former Icelandic beauty queen Íris Björk Jóhannesdóttir, with whom he was most recently spotted touching down at LAX airport on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
And despite the fact that the pair is seemingly going strong after they were first photographed in November sharing a passionate kiss during a romantic dinner in Paris, Pine still refuses to talk about his love life.
When asked how he manages the fact that his personal life is constantly under a magnifying glass, Pine simply replied, "Don't talk about it."
The Hollywood hunk also posed solo for pics at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 12 where he chatted with Ryan Seacrest about his upcoming film and shared the advice he received from Alec Baldwin.
