It wouldn't be an awards show without some sort of wardrobe malfunction, and tonight, that honor went to the beautiful Robin Wright. Luckily, her fashion mishap wasn't that bad (her dress didn't rip in half on the red carpet or anything), but it did grab some attention.
The 47-year-old excitedly went up to accept her award for Best Actress in a Television Series for her role as Claire Underwood in Netflix's House of Cards, and during her speech, turned a little too sharply to the side and revealed her pasty.
Wright, who looked stunning in a sparkly halter Reem Acra gown, was recalling Merritt Wever's 2013 Emmy Awards speech in which the Nurse Jackie star said, "I've got to go, bye!" saying she wished she could join her, and when she motioned backstage, the dress shifted a little too far over.
Regardless, it was one of the smoothest wardrobe malfunctions we've ever seen, and it's quite possible you missed it. In fact, we're not even sure Wright noticed it happened.
Aside from her Golden Globe win, the celeb is currently celebrating her recent engagement to 33-year-old actor Ben Foster. The couple attended Diane von Furstenberg's "Journey of a Dress" party on Friday, Jan. 10 in Los Angeles, where the House of Cards starlet's beautiful sparkler was on full display while she was posing with her daughter Dylan Penn.
The new year is definitely off to a good star for this pretty lady.
