Kaley Cuoco Sweeting Makes Her Big Debut at the Golden Globe Awards, Dishes on Her Massive Hanging Wedding Cake

Big Bang Theory star talked to E! News about the favorite part of her wedding and more before the awards show began

Meet Mrs. Kaley Cuoco Sweeting.

The Big Bang Theory star, who recently tied the knot with hubby Ryan Sweeting Dec. 31, was glowing as she stepped onto the red carpet at the Golden Globes Sunday in a floral Rani Zakhem gown and Jimmy Choo heels.

And she couldn't help but gush over her upside-down wedding cake, which happened to be suspended from a chandelier.

"The Butter End in Santa Monica created it," she told Ryan Seacrest. "Our whole wedding was hanging from chandeliers, so we wanted to do something crazy and they were like ‘you want it to hang from a chandelier?' and I was like ‘yeah!'"

"Then, they kind of regretted saying that, because they had to go in like a week early with a construction worker," Kaley added.

As for how the cake gurus constructed it, the 28-year-old actress said the massive dessert was "completely built from within."

So, what was the highlight of her wedding night?

"The cake was pretty awesome," Kaley quipped. "Saying ‘I do' was pretty awesome too."

Kaley's CBS show is nominated for Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical, which she called "a dream."

"We're seven years in, we're at the Globes again, this is a dream," she said. "People are still watching the show, we can't believe it. We're so grateful."
