Before Leonardo DiCaprio goes up against Christian Bale, Bruce Dern, Oscar Isaac and Joaquin Phoenix at the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, he enjoyed an early celebration before the big show.

The Wolf of Wall Street nominee was seen at Sunset Tower Hotel's restaurant The Tower Bar with his girlfriend Toni Garrn, his director Martin Scorsese and some other friends on Saturday, Jan. 11, E! News can exclusively confirm.

The couple looked chic for the festivities; a bearded DiCaprio sported a black suit and a loose-fitted tie, while Garrn donned a simple low-cut sexy emerald green dress and heels. The German beauty's hair was pulled back and she wore natural makeup.

A source exclusively reveals that Scorsese was already at the table for a while and when the handsome pair arrived, the acclaimed filmmaker moved over to make space for them.

The 39-year-old actor didn't really eat, as the couple joined the table quite late in the evening, but he was smoking an electric cigarette. DiCaprio was in great spirits, and was spotted laughing and talking with his hands.

According to the source, the lovebirds didn't interact very much because DiCaprio was chatting more with the other people at the table. At one point, DiCaprio left the restaurant briefly and as he walked out, he stopped by Lionel Richie's table to say hello.

When the group got up to leave a little after midnight, the 21-year-old model really stood out because she was significantly taller than her beau. As the couple departed the restaurant, DiCaprio's hand was on her lower back.

DiCaprio and his entourage weren't the only celebs at Sunset Tower on Saturday evening.

Ashley Olsen had dinner with a group of friends, while Sofia Vergara looked stunning in a black tight dress, black nylons and 6-inch Louboutins. Jemima Kirke and Jimmy Fallon were also at the L.A. hot spot.
