Kellan Lutz had a bit of an issue with his behind while shooting the Legend of Hercules.

As it turns out, the 28-year-old actor who plays the lead role in the film, dealt with some butt chafing while he was trying to master riding a horse for it.

"It got rough. It got really rough," Lutz told E! News' Giuliana Rancic and Catt Sadler Friday. "There was some chafing. You're bouncing up and down, you have to ride [the horse], so you really learn. So, my butt just got raw."

"I got some scars on it and I had to be on the horse the next day, because the horse needs to learn that you are the rider, so you can never miss a day," he continued. "So, I learned my lesson to listen to the experts and I will always do that from now on."

For anyone else who might've had a bad run-in with chafing as well, Lutz recommended using a butt cream, as did Giuliana, who chimed in with her own tales of butt chafing (from marathon training with husband Bill), saying she used her baby's creams to fix the issue.

Speaking of Lutz's horse, the thesp bulked up significantly for the role, getting totally ripped with workouts he created mostly on set, with the help of the animal.

"I had my trusty beast—my horse—to work on my legs with every time I rode him and then also working with a sword—it works your shoulders and your chests quite well, so I love it," he said. "Also, I'm topless in most of the scenes so it gave me the opportunity to do push-ups whenever I wanted to."

While the thesp also joked about his rumored relationships with celebrities, he kept mum about getting recently linked to Miley Cyrus, who he has since referred to as just a friend.

"It's comical for me," Kellan told Today's Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb Wednesday, Jan. 8, referencing speculation about his supposed romance with the "Adore You" singer.

"I'm a public figure, she's a public figure, I've been friends with her for six years and we're in the same circle...I'm dating everyone these days, let's just start that rumor!"

The duo first sparked rumors that they were more than friends, when they were spotted looking cozy in a photo at the opening of Beacher's Madhouse in Las Vegas at the end of December.
